What this covers
This policy explains what Mr. Fix Your Chip Auto Glass does with the information you send through mrfixyourchip.com. It covers the website only. It does not cover anything you tell us in person, on a call, or over text after we have started talking.
What we collect
Only what you type into the service request form: your name, phone number, email address, vehicle, the service you need, whether you are making an insurance claim, where you would like the work done, your notes, and a photo of the damage if you choose to attach one.
We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this website.
The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and does not track you between visits.
What we do with it
We use it to answer your request and quote the work. When you submit the form, the details are sent to the shop owner as a text message and an email so he can get back to you. That is the whole purpose.
Your phone number
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or any other information with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Submitting the form does not sign you up for marketing texts. The only messages our system sends are lead notifications to the shop owner's own phone. If we text you, it is a person replying to your request, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Who else sees it
Only the services that make the site work:
- Cloudflare hosts the website and stores photos you upload with your request.
- Twilio delivers the notification text message to the owner.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces, and a Google Maps panel is embedded on the contact and services pages. Google may record your IP address when those load.
Nobody else. We do not hand your details to lead brokers, marketers, or data resellers.
How long we keep it
Service requests and any photos attached to them are kept while we are working with you and for our own records afterwards. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging vehicle work. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
